ULTRASONIC INSPECTIONS
- Experienced Specialist Level 2 Technician
- Non-destructive inspection of structural steelwork assemblies for welding imperfections, and parent material for laminations or other manufacturing defects.
- Ultrasonic thickness testing also available.
- The preferred laboratory standard is AS-2207, however Lab procedures and necessary equipment and experience are in place for all other common UT Standards/Codes and specifications (ASME, ISO, EN, etc).
- Ultrasonic thickness testing can be an effective way of checking sprinkler pipework or chilled liquid lines for evidence of uniform internal corrosion or loss of wall thickness for pipe life span / life cycle assessments.
